352 Queen St., Dawson City, Yukon
Built in 1903 with a $25,000 grant from American industrialist, Andrew Carnegie, plus municiple and territorial assistance, the Carnegie Library on Queen Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues opened in 1904 with over 5,000 books. Designed by Robert Moncrieff, it was the northernmost Carnegie library ever built. The library moved out in 1920 and the building remained empty until 1934 when it was sold to Yukon Lodge No. 45.
