Since 1893 the North Vancouver Cemetery, a 25-hectare parcel of land located at the north end of Lillooet Road, has served residents of the North Shore.
While numerous freemasons have been interred in this cemetery, only two grave markers in the upper section display masonic symbols.
D.G. Dick (1846-1920). Founder of Burrard Lodge No. 50
Luther Watts Doney (1869-1924). Founder of Duke of Connaught Lodge No. 64
George A. Porter (1870-1940)
The lower section has not been formally surveyed, but seven markers, all in one area, have been identified. Four of the seven also display the Scottish thistle.
