Sacred Stars of the Milky Way

| |
Art Van Harvey as Victor R. Gook, Bernadine Flynn as Sade Gook, Clarence Hartzell as Uncle Fletcher and Bill Idelson as Rush Gook. The show also included longtime announcer, Bob Brown.
Victor R. Gook was a "Sky Brother" in the Sacred Stars of the Milky Way lodge on the long-running NBC radio show, Vic and Sade. Paul Rhymer (b. 1905) wrote over 3,600 15-minute episodes of the show from June 29, 1932 until September 29, 1944. Unfortunately many of the episodes have been lost but of those known, eighteen featured some aspect of Vic Gooks lodge. Not a fraternity, the lodge was known to initiate both men and women.
