Depicted above is a conflation of two unrelated images, one that has become identified in pop culture with secret societies, the all-seeing eye, and the other with indolent relaxation, the fez.
Squidward Tentacles is elected president of the Royal Secret Order of the Good Neigbour Lodge:
SpongeBob and Patrick: "By the all-seeing eye, ye are worthy, we are not."
Squidward: "What are you idiots doing?"
Patrick: "Secret ritual." [2:40:00]
Their red fezzes are adorned with black tassles, like the Shriners. An all-seeing eye is depicted on their hats as well as on an emblem adorning a lecturn.
