[Bette Davis]
Bette Davis as "Fluff".
Kid Galahad (1937)
Notable for it's use of period slang, this film contains three references possibly inspired by Freemasonry.
Louise 'Fluff' Phillips: "You've been on the level with him all the way." [00:54:00]
Louise 'Fluff' Phillips: "He's square with you. He always will be." [00:56:00]
Earlier in the film, in the middle of a raucous house-party, fight promoter, Nick 'Nicky' Donati strikes a deal with a local mobster and then announces to the crowd: "Now listen. This is strictly in the lodge. Keep your mouths shut." [00:17:00]
