Inside Job (2024)
Inside Job is a workplace comedy about Cognito Inc., a secret company which controls the United States government on behalf of the deep state. It consisted of 18 episodes in two parts, with a cliffhanger ending that was left unresolved when Netflix cancelled the show.
The masonic square and compasses emblem appears on eight occasions, linked to various conspiracy theories and masoniphobic accusations. It is curious that in later episodes it is revealed that the Illuminati is a business rival of Cognito Inc., but this is fiction and all in good fun. Unfortunately, it further marginalizes and fictionalizes an emblem that is a widely recognized symbol of a real-world society.
