Krazy Kat
The use of a five-pointed star in this 8 March, 1931 comic strip by George Herriman (1880-1944) is a popular convention and may not neccessarily imply any deeper relationship between the pentagram and Venus.

This panel is also reproduced in Krazy & Ignatz. by George Herriman. "A Kat a'Lilt with Song." Convening the Complete Full-Page Comic Strips, with some extra Dailies. 1931-32. Edited by Bill Blackbeard and Derya Ataker. Seattle : Fantagrahics Books, 2004. ISBN: 1-56097-594-6. 128 p. pb. p. 17.
