Dianne Reidy (2013)
During a live television broadcast of a protracted and acrimonious budget debate of the United States House of Congress on Wednesday, 16 October 2013, long-time stenographer Dianne Reidy left her workstation and approached the podium to deliver what has been described as a message from God.
Some report that she said ""Do not be deceived. God shall not be mocked. A House divided cannot stand," Others claim she said something like "Do not be deceived. This is not a house divided."
Although captured on video by C-SPAN, the microphone had been turned off and her exact words are unknown. An audio record of her outburst by Public Radio International reporter Todd Zwillich, as Reidy was lead away by security officers moments later, has often been added to the video to appear as if these were her words at the microphone:
"He will not be mocked; He will not be mocked... don't touch me... He will not be mocked. The greatest deception here is that this is not one nation under God, It never was. Had it been... it would not have been... No. It would not have been... the Constitution would not have been written by Freemasons... and go against God. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God, Lord Jesus Christ. Praise...."
In fact, only nine of the 40 signatories were Freemasons,
