[Sebastion O]
Sebastion O
The scissors and razor emblem is obviously not masonic, and their arrangement, while similar to the masonic square and compasses, is equally not masonic. But the image appears on the same page as masonic references.
Two specific masonic references are made in the introduction on page 5, "A Sebastion O Chronology": "1888. Sebastion O assists police in the apprehension of Springheeled Jack the Phantom Red Ripper — but a Masonic cover-up ensues, leading to the first meeting of Sebastion O and Lord Theo Lavender. "Queen Victoria grants Sebastion a Royal pardon on the condition that he never speak of the Red Ripper affair. "1891. Sebastion is reintroduced to the sinister Mason, Lord Theo Lavender." On page 16 Lord Carhaix is noted as a diabolist and member of Sir Francis Dashwood’s infamous Hellfire Club.
barbershop
A similar emblem can be found on a barbershop sign in the film, Support Your Local Sheriff!, and has also appeared in the real world on a barbershop sign in Kelowna, BC, and another in Portland, Oregon.
