They'll Do It Every Time (1945)
They'll Do It Every Time was a one or two-panel newspaper comic strip, created by James Cecil Hatlo (1897/09/01-1963/12/01), better known as Jimmy Hatlo, and distributed by King Features Syndicate. It first appeared on February 5, 1929 and ran until February 2, 2008.
In this panel he notes the ubiquitous nature of fraternal pins at the time. In another panel he depicted a fraternal lodge initiation complete with candidate riding a goat and older members standing around the room muttering complaints about how poorly the "ritual" is being conducted.

"The Lawyer's Lawyer", They'll Do It Ever Time, by Jimmy Hatlo, with an introduction by Arthur "Bugs" Baer. Montreal, Canada : Pocket Books of Canada Ltd., July 1945. Copyright by King Features Syndicate, Inc., p. 6 No. 298. [120 pp.]
