The Illuminoids Neal Wilgus, claiming his research predated The Illuminatus! Trilogy, convinced Robert Anton Wilson to write an introduction to his second edition. While reasonably well researched, Wilgus, or his publisher, chose not to include citations or bibliography. This can leave the careless reader ignorant of Wilgus' reliance on the discredited and controversial writings of Nesta Webster. Noteworthy is the positioning of an eye at the apex of a triangular shape in the cover art, reinforcing the unproven claim of a link between the Illuminati and the USA great seal.
